Job summary

USMD Hospital at Arlington is seeking a Manager RN for the DSU/PACU/Preassessment units. This role leads nursing staff, ensures alignment with hospital goals, and oversees staffing and regulatory compliance to deliver quality patient care in Arlington, TX.

The RN Manager is expected to bring BSN, Texas license, and certifications (BLS/ACLS); PALS preferred for PACU/ER. Five years of clinical experience are preferred along with strong leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• BSN required.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certification required upon hire.
• PALS certification required upon hire if PACU or ER.
• ENPC or TNCC preferred in ER.

Responsibilities

• Oversees staffing plans and scheduling for the nursing department.
• Ensures productivity targets and department performance.
• Develops and implements policies, procedures and action plans to optimize department outcomes.
• Maintains positive relations with continuum of care providers and other departments.
