Job summary

Indiana University Health System seeks a Clinical Operations Manager for the ICU/PCU. The role combines clinical leadership with strategic planning to improve quality, safety, patient experience, and staff engagement.

The manager will oversee a 24x7 operational unit, coordinate with interprofessional teams, and advance evidence-based nursing practices in alignment with IU Health standards. Ideal candidates will have a BSN, an MSN or related master’s, and an active Indiana RN license (or NLC).

Qualifications

• Requires a BSN in nursing.
• Master of Nursing (MSN) or related field preferred.
• Master’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Specialty nursing or leadership certification preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee clinical operations for ICU/PCU with 24x7 coverage.
• Provide strategic vision and operational planning for the unit.
• Lead an interprofessional team to achieve quality and safety goals.
• Advocate evidence-based nursing practice and standards.
