Job summary

Qualifications
- Requires BSN; MSN or related field preferred.
- Master’s in nursing or related field preferred.
- Specialty nursing leadership certification preferred.
- Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
- BLS certification through the AHA required; other ALS may be required per unit.
- Experience in Med-Surg strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Connect to Promise - demonstrate IU Health values and strategic alignment.
- Provide strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit.
- Lead an interprofessional team to empower excellence in patient and organizational outcomes.
- Oversee 24 x 7 unit operations including weekends and holidays.
- Advance nursing practice and embed evidenced-based clinical standards.
