Sentara Leigh Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Patient Care Technician to join the ICU team on day shift. This on-site, full-time role supports RNs and staff, delivering patient care and assisting with admissions and discharges in a fast-paced unit.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification within 90 days. Relevant CNA, NCMA, NCPCT, or related credentials are preferred, with health care experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification or equivalent is preferred within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient care under the supervision of a professional nurse.
• Assist with admissions and discharge processes.
• Monitor patients and report changes in condition to the nurse.
• Deliver compassionate care to patients and families in a high-acuity ICU setting.
