Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support the patient care team at St. Marys Hospital. You will perform basic care tasks, monitor patients, and assist in coordinating unit activities to ensure high-quality care.

This full-time role requires a Colorado CNA and BLS certification, plus solid computer and communication skills. Work is conducted in a hospital setting with a daytime shift and a competitive benefits package.

Competenze

• Current Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA) in Colorado.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• Demonstrated basic computer literacy skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

• Prioritize and deliver basic patient care (toileting, bathing, linen changes, water, ambulating, comfort) with strong customer service.
• Report and record patient data promptly; alert changes in condition and seek assistance as needed.
• May perform telemetry duties and function as a patient care attendant with team collaboration.
• Transport medications to the RN on the unit as required.
• Collaborate with the RN and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care.
• May act as Health Unit Coordinator (phones, orders, unit records, supplies).
• Implement plan of care as delegated; perform duties within scope of practice.
• Perform specialized procedures and maintain regulatory standards; ensure safety in emergencies.
