HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join the ICU team. The role focuses on bedside nursing support, assisting nurses with patient care and daily tasks in a hospital setting.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of PCA/nursing assistant experience or 6 months with relevant certification. BLS is required within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year nursing assistant or PCA experience; or 6 months nursing assistant or PCA experience and certification.
• CNA or PCT certification in state of practice required with 6 months experience; certification not required for >1 year experience.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
