Job summary

VCA Animal Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician for the ICU Overnight team at VREC. This hands-on role rewards skilled triage, continuous ICU monitoring, IV placement, and assisted stabilization.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT licensure required or in good standing.
• Experience in ER/ICU settings preferred.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Responsibilities

• Triage incoming emergency patients with the veterinary team.
• Monitor ICU inpatients and track vitals and changes.
• Place IV catheters and manage fluids and meds per orders.
• Assist with stabilization and treatment plans in real time.
• Administer medications accurately and document administration.
