Job summary

Animal Emergency & Specialty Center (AESC) in Parker, CO, is seeking an Overnight ICU Veterinary Technician. The role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT with at least one year of experience, registration in Colorado or ability to obtain it, and fluent English.

The ICU Technician provides advanced inpatient care, supports veterinarians, and coordinates with the entire hospital team during night shift. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ($25–$32/hr) with a $1500 sign-on bonus and a $3/hr night

Qualifications

• At least ONE YEAR of veterinary technician experience is REQUIRED.
• Registered Veterinary Technician in Colorado, or able to become registered upon hire.
• Fluent English (speaking & reading) required; multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent and advanced patient care to every hospitalized patient.
• Assist veterinarians with exams, treatments and procedures as needed.
• Perform standard technician duties: patient restraint, venipuncture, SQ fluids, radiographs, medication administration, lab samples, dispense medications.
• Collaborate with all departments to ensure best patient care.
• Respond to STAT calls and follow patient care protocols.
• Maintain paperless medical records using EzyVet and Smartflow.
• Create estimates, discuss with owners, and assist with discharge.
