Job summary

Banner Gateway Oncology ICU in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a full-time Day shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA/LNA) to support oncology patients on a 24-bed unit affiliated with MD Anderson. The role involves care from diagnosis through chemotherapy and stem cell treatments, with a focus on safety and patient comfort.

Responsibilities include routine patient care, vital signs, and documentation while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification is required.
• Current CNA/LNA certification in state of practice is required.
• Minimum 1 year of medical clerical or hospital experience preferred.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and nutrition.
• Collect and document vital signs and assigned data.
• Report changes to licensed staff and ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain patient records and assist with unit operations.
