AdventHealth Overland Park is seeking an Assistant Nurse Manager for Intensive Care. This role leads the ICU team during night shifts, supervises nursing staff, and ensures high-quality patient care through direction, mentorship, and performance improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with physicians and the broader healthcare team to standardize care, manage staffing and compliance, and support professional development.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (registered nurse).
• 1+ year charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in acute care and ICU environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead nursing staff on the unit during night shifts and ensure standard of care.
• Oversee performance improvement initiatives and patient safety.
• Mentor and precept staff to develop skills and professionalism.
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary team and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage staffing, workflow, and resource allocation for efficient operations.
