Job summary

Mercy Hospital – ICU is seeking a Clinical Supervisor for night shift (40 hours/week). The role oversees safe, high-quality, cost-effective nursing care and ensures optimal staffing and patient flow with the Staffing Office.

It requires leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with administrators and physicians. The candidate must be a Graduate from an accredited Nursing program with an RN license, 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience, and relevant certifications (AHA Nurse Provider,

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program.
• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• 3–5 years of hospital nursing experience.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card or complete a course within probation; TNCC, ACLS and ENPC or PALS.

Responsibilities

• Ensure units are appropriately staffed to provide patient care.
• Proactively involved in patient flow and bed management in collaboration with Staffing Office.
• Lead and mentor staff to promote change and accountability; model professional standards and positive leadership.
• Collaborate with Clinical Manager on evaluations and process improvements.
