The Nurse Extern must be enrolled in an accredited RN program, hold a current BLS certification, and be able to progress after the first nursing semester.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Student currently enrolled in an accredited RN nursing program.
• May advance from Nurse Extern after first nursing semester or CNA in first RN semester.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Responsibilities
