The UNE collaborates with the Nurse Manager and Clinical Nurse Leader to coordinate care, educate staff, and implement unit-based standards of practice and continuous improvement initiatives. You will maintain educational files, support discharge planning, and lead evidence-based practice initiatives while ensuring compliance with nursing standards

Qualifications

• Education in nursing theory and clinical practice required.
• Knowledge of standards of nursing practice and quality metrics.
• Ability to develop and deliver educational programs for staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical education support to nursing staff regarding quality metrics and disease management.
• Directly observe care delivery and guide staff, especially on complex patient problems.
• Develop and implement unit-based education on new policies, procedures, products and equipment.
• Coordinate nursing education and participate in hospital/nursing committees.
