Job summary

Renown Health seeks an experienced educator to lead staff development and apply adult education theory to nursing practice. The role includes coordinating in-service trainings, supporting the MA Trainee program, and collaborating with nursing management to ensure high-quality patient care.

The educator will integrate evidence-based practice with clinical education across outpatient and inpatient settings, maintaining competency standards and supporting continuous learning for nursing staff.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare field; Master's preferred.
• Experience: 2 years clinical experience in the specialty preferred.
• Licenses: Nevada RN license required at time of hire.
• Certifications: BLS certification required at time of hire.
• Computer: Proficient with MS Office suite and online learning systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate up-to-date in-service classes for nursing and clinical staff.
• Coordinate the MA Trainee program incl. reviewing candidates and curriculum.
• Provide patient care as required and consult with nursing management.
• Apply adult education principles to staff development and evaluation.
