Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with management to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery as needed.
• Implements nursing strategies, including staff rounding and scheduling in alignment with productivity guidelines.
• Supports interviewing, selecting, and training of new staff; participates in performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
