Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty inpatient care in the ICU at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital in Wisconsin.

The APP works as part of a multidisciplinary team, performing rounds, assessments, and treatment planning for critically ill patients, with opportunities to participate in research, quality improvement, and teaching within a supportive, value-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Inpatient, acute care or critical care experience preferred.
• Wisconsin RN license for APN/PA path; proper credentialing required.
• ACLS, BLS, and DEA certifications required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pulmonary/critical care faculty on patient care in the ICU.
• Participate in daily rounds with Attending Intensivist and present 24-hour reports.
• Manage care from admission to transfer and contribute to teaching and quality initiatives.
