Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty care in the Medical ICU at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The APP works as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on patient safety, quality improvement, and education.

Join a dynamic group delivering high-level critical care, collaborating with faculty across disciplines while participating in rounds and ongoing clinical teaching in a Level I

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Nurse: Master’s Degree or higher in Nursing from a nationally accredited organization.
• Physician Assistant: Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Physician Assistant Studies from an ARC-PA-accredited organization

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with pulmonary & critical care faculty in collaboration with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Participate in daily rounds with the Attending Intensivist Physician team, presenting 24-hour patient report.
• Provide specialty medical care in the MICU from admission to transfer.
• Join an amazing team delivering exceptional care to MICU patients.
