Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin's Division of Pulmonary/Critical Care seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty inpatient care in the MICU at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. The APP works within a multidisciplinary team, participates in rounds, and contributes to teaching, research, and quality initiatives.

Ideal candidates have inpatient/acute/critical care experience and Wisconsin licensure; NP/PA certification is required.

Qualifications

• Inpatient, acute care, and critical care experience strongly preferred.
• Advanced Practice Nurse requires a Master's Degree; Physician Assistant requires a PA degree.
• Wisconsin RN/APN or PA licensure and board certifications (ACLS, BLS, DEA) are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty medical care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in daily rounds.
• Contribute to teaching, research, quality improvement, and patient safety.
