Job summary

The Medical College of Wisconsin’s Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, & Sleep Medicine seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide specialty medical care in the Inpatient ICU at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital, Menomonee Falls, WI. The APP works within a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellence in patient care, safety, research, and teaching.

Schedule is 1.0 FTE with 12-hour rotating day/night shifts, some weekends/holidays, and potential for extra shifts.

Qualifications

• Strong inpatient/acute and critical care experience is preferred.
• Wisconsin RN license and APRN/PA credentials required.
• Certification: ACLS, BLS, DEA; AGACNP board certification if NP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with ICU team to assess, diagnose, and treat critically ill patients.
• Perform daily rounds with Attending Intensivist; present 24-hour patient reports.
• Provide comprehensive care from admission to transfer within the ICU.
