Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an RN for Extended Assignment in Critical Care on the night shift. This 13-week surge-season program requires 36 hours per week with a Monday/Friday and Saturday/Sunday work pattern in a fast-paced ICU setting.

The role supports patient-centered care under Nurse Managers and follows the WellStar Professional Practice Model with evidence-based practice. Requires RN licensure and BLS/ACLS, plus strong clinical and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes and speaks English; strong communication and documentation skills.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; ICU/critical care preferred.
• Strong time management, teamwork and patient care priorities.

Responsibilities

• perform nursing process with evidence-based practice; plan, implement and evaluate care; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
