Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a full-time RN for the Intermediate ICU on the night shift (7p–7a) in a 16-bed unit with Level IV trauma experience preferred. This Magnet-designated campus emphasizes quality care within a compassionate culture.

The role involves an interdisciplinary team and adherence to professional practice models, governance, and evidence-based nursing. Qualified candidates will have a nursing diploma/BSN, an active RN license, and strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license (GA or state compact).
• BLS required; ACLS preferred/instructor status.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process with assessment, diagnosis, outcomes, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Provide relationship-based patient-centered care respecting diversity and cultural needs.
• Partner with patients and families using bedside shifts, rounds and teaching.
• Practice using current clinical standards with teamwork and collaboration.
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, high-quality patient care.
