Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Medical ICU (St. Ann's).

This role supports a 12-bed ICU with occasional overflow to SICU, following the Ohio Nurse Practice Act and evidence-based care within an ANCC Magnet framework. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care planning with families, accurate documentation, and collaboration with the ICU team to deliver high-quality, multidisciplinary care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
• For Casual RNs 2 years of experience is required.
• New graduate nurses with less than one year of clinical experience are enrolled in Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care, ensures patient safety, promotes evidence-based practice and quality initiatives in the ICU nursing model.
• Assesses and communicates care plans with patients, families and the care team.
• Evaluates and documents patient status using nursing processes and standards.
