Job summary

Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, full-time, night shift with 36 hours per week. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and preferred ICU/high-acuity experience.

One year of licensed RN experience is required, and a BSN is strongly preferred. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; valid compact licenses must be transferred within 60 days.
  • RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.
  • Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
  • BSN preferred from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

  • Assess: Conducts comprehensive assessments and gathers data from patient, family, and team.
  • Plan: Develops individualized care plans with patient and family involvement.
  • Implement: Coordinates and delegates care within the interdisciplinary team.
  • Evaluate: Reviews outcomes and revises plans as needed.
  • Professionalism: Maintains ethical practice, documentation, and regulatory compliance.
