Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care for patients and families across the continuum of care in diverse, acute settings. The RN is accountable for nursing practice per the Ohio Board of Nursing and delegates tasks to LPNs and UAPs.

The role includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care, with 24/7 operations. Night shift, 36 hours weekly in Intensive Care Unit 1, with emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license in Ohio or a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required.
• BSN required after 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patients with ongoing health status evaluation.
• Identify and plan outcomes based on nursing diagnoses and collaborative problems.
• Implement and evaluate nursing care, adjusting plan as needed within a multidisciplinary team.
• Lead process improvements to enhance clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and efficiency.
• Operate within 24/7/365 ICU workflow and adhere to safety standards.
