Job summary

Advocate Health’s Aurora Lakeland Medical Center ICU in Elkhorn, Wisconsin, seeks a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care for critical and stepdown patients in an acuity-based staffing model.

The role requires a nursing degree, active RN license in Wisconsin, BLS, and ACLS/PALS within 6 months of hire. Night shifts with a $5/hour differential and a 36-hour workweek offer opportunities to grow and lead within a supportive team.

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited nursing program.
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by American Heart Association within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
