Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a registered nurse for a full‑time position with 40 hours per week. The role features 12‑hour night shifts (2 holidays per year) and responsibilities across direct patient care, documentation, and safety adherence.

The RN will use the nursing process, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and participate in quality initiatives to improve patient outcomes. Licensure in WI and BLS are required; BSN preferred where possible.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved education program.
• Active RN license with WI privileges; multi-state compact acceptable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence‑based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care with patient and family involvement.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Maintains a culture of safety and accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols; may float to other units as needed.
