Job summary

Stamford Health is hiring a full-time ICU Staff RN for night shifts (7pm–8am) in Stamford, CT. The role requires at least 2 years of ICU RN experience and a CT RN license; BSN preferred.

You will coordinate and deliver patient care, supervise non-RN staff, and precept new team members within a Planetree-guided culture. The position features a $30,000 sign-on bonus, rotating weekends and holidays, generous benefits, tuition reimbursement, and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Valid license as Registered Nurse in Connecticut.
• BSN strongly preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Maintain minimum of 6 contact hours annually.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient care using the Nursing Process and established standards.
• Provide supervision of non-RN personnel and act as a resource for ancillary staff.
• Supervise unit activities when assigned to charge or clinical coordinator role.
• Act as preceptor to new staff and/or students as requested.
