Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, CT is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join the ICU team on the night shift. This 24-hour part-time role includes full benefits, shift differential, and night incentive options. Eligible candidates may receive a prorated sign-on bonus of up to $9,000.

The ICU RN provides specialized care to critically ill patients, supports stabilization, and collaborates with the care team to ensure excellent outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut required.
• AHA Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 3 months of hire.
• NVCIT certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill ICU patients.
• Assess physical, psychological, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs.
• Deliver emergent, supportive, and restorative interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and document care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes.
