Job summary

Lower Keys Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the ICU unit. The role requires 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care, with shift coverage from 7pm to 7am.

In addition to base pay, a $10K sign-on bonus and student loan contribution up to $20k are offered, plus housing stipends and comprehensive benefits for full- and part-time roles. The RN provides patient-centered care, administers medications, and collaborates with physicians to develop

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care.
• Current RN license in state or compact state required.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team to implement care plans.
• Document care accurately and maintain patient safety.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and participate in quality improvement.
