Job summary

Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Ohio seeks an ICU Registered Nurse to provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process. Position supports the hospital’s mission to deliver compassionate care and requires BLS, ACLS and PALS certification, with TCAR preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license in state of Ohio.
• Demonstrated proficiency in acute care nursing, knowledge and skills.
• BLS required.
• ACLS certification required.
• PALS required.
• TCAR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and diagnoses patient and family needs to provide quality care to assigned patients.
• Develops, discusses, and communicates a realistic plan of care for each patient, in collaboration with patient/family/support person.
• Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to implement medical plan of care, nursing interventions, and procedures.
• Evaluates problems and patient responses to ensure quality care.
• Maintains accurate documentation of nursing care for healthcare team use.
• Maintains current knowledge, certification, licensure and pursues professional growth.
• Supports a respectful environment and complies with safety policies.
