Job summary

Wood County Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU, nights, and full-time. The role focuses on evidence-based practice, patient assessment, collaboration, and education, with on-site responsibilities in Ohio.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Nursing or ADN and be licensed in Ohio by hire; BLS and ACLS are required within 90 days, with PALS and NRP also within 90 days. A BSN is preferred. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Diploma in nursing or ADN from an accredited school.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Ohio by time of hire.
• BLS and ACLS within 90 days of hire; PALS within 90 days; NRP within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in ICU.
• Maintain accurate, timely reports and records.
• Individualize care based on patient values and needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to achieve best outcomes.
• Educate patient and family from admission to discharge.
• Promote safety and a culture of safety.
• Fulfill additional duties as assigned.
