Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (Acute Care NP/PA/CNS) for the Medical ICU III Nights. This part-time role covers 6:00pm–6:00am with 6 12-hour shifts per month.

The APP will work within a critical care team, performing rounds, procedures, and rapid responses, guided by on-site intensivists. Requires national APRN/PA/CNS certification and applicable state licensure.

Qualifications

• APRN/PA/CNS with national certification and licensure.
• MSN/APRN required for APRN track or higher.
• PA: Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or higher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical histories and physical examinations for adults with acute illness.
• Lead rounds and participate in ICU care under attending intensivist.
• Perform procedures and interpret routine diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per licensure and policy.
