Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Akron General is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (PA/ACNP/CNS) to join the Cardiovascular Surgery team in an acute care inpatient setting. You will round in the ICU, manage post-operative care, and provide inpatient consults for complex cardiovascular cases.

Requirements include APRN or PA credentialing, ICU experience, and the ability to work in a high-acuity surgical environment, with collaboration among surgeons and the care team.

Qualifications

• MSN degree required upon hire or within 3 years for APRN hires
• Graduate of an accredited APRN program
• Master’s degree required for neonatal care service area (if applicable)
• PA graduate from ARC-approved program with master’s degree in PA studies

Responsibilities

• ICU rounding and post-operative management for cardiovascular patients.
• Inpatient consults and management of critically ill/injured patients.
• Perform advanced procedures as credentialed (e.g., first assist, line insertions).
• Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons in operative and non-operative care.
• Provide education and participate in rounds and care coordination.
