Job summary

AdventHealth in Altamonte Springs, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Multisystem ICU. Full-time, day shift with weekend rotation, providing comprehensive nursing care in a 28-bed ICU with advanced modalities.

Qualifications

RN license in Florida (Required).
BLS & ACLS certifications (Required).
1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.
Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s preferred.
Must be fluent in English; good communication and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans with regular revisions.
Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions per physician orders.
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and self-care.
Collaborate with the care team to optimize patient outcomes and document care.
Maintain accurate, timely medical records and care activities.
