Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night-shift role in Altamonte Springs. The position covers three 12-hour shifts (7:00 pm – 7:00 am) with weekend rotation, handling comprehensive patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, patient education, and collaboration with the care team.

Requirements include an Associate of Science degree in Nursing, current Florida (or multistate) RN licensure, at least 6 months RN experience, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must hold an Associate of Science degree in Nursing.
• Current State of Florida or Multistate licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of six (6) months prior Registered Nurse experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes.
