Job summary
AdventHealth is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Orlando PCU units. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications with vigilance to safety and quality.
You will educate patients and families, collaborate with the care team, and document care activities accurately. A Florida RN license and BLS are required, with BSN preferred for career growth.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active RN license in Florida.
- BLS CPR certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred.
- Associate degree in Nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across multiple domains.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
- Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocol.
- Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate care and maintain safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record.
