Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care Unit in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time position is 36 hours per week, with a 7:00am–7:30pm shift and every other weekend at Northwest Community Hospital.

You will assess patients, coordinate plans of care to ensure safe and timely interventions, educate families, and participate in quality improvement while maintaining Illinois nursing licensure and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or BSN required.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient assessment and collection of health data.
• Coordinates patient plan of care for safety and timeliness.
• Communicates clearly with patients, families, and staff.
• Educates patient and family based on assessments.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to evaluate nursing practice.
• Maintains knowledge of standards, laws, and regulations.
