Job summary

Air Methods Corporation in Jasper, GA seeks a seasoned EMS professional to join our Clinical Flight Crew. You’ll provide pre-hospital advanced life support, perform assessments, triage and care, and support mission success in a fast-paced, aviation-enabled environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in a busy 911 system, an EMT-P license, and current certifications. The role includes mission briefings, safety compliance, and ongoing education with a strong focus on patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least three years’ related experience and/or training
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system
• Previous critical care transport and flight experience a plus

Responsibilities

• Provides high quality pre-hospital advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment per Air Methods CBS standards
• Maintains documentation of patient care, licensing, certifications, and required training
• Maintains equipment, reports equipment failures, and ensures readiness of supplies onboard aircraft
• Attends pre-mission briefings and mission debriefings and assists in liftoff checklists
• Supports safety standards to ensure safety of patients, crew, and equipment
• Performs duties as flight crew member and participates in outreach and education activities
