Job summary

Air Methods in Panacea, FL seeks an experienced EMT-P for pre-hospital advanced life support duties as part of the clinical flight crew. You will participate in missions, maintain documentation, and uphold safety standards across transport operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years related experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field preferred.
• Minimum three years’ recent experience in a busy 911 system.
• Current EMT-P license and state registrations; BLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS, ITLS/PHTLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital advanced life support care from first contact to transfer; document thoroughly.
• Maintain competency and report educational needs to supervisors.
• Ensure valid licensure, certifications, and ongoing training; attend at least six educational programs annually.
• Report equipment status and maintain supplies onboard aircraft; keep aircraft ready for rapid response.
• Participate in patient follow-up, referrals, and outreach activities.
