Job summary

RN Float in Baylor Scott and White Health is hiring for a PRN Operating Room Float Pool Day position. Hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm, depending on surgeries, in the Hill Country region with float coverage to Marble Falls and Lakeway.

The role requires a valid RN license, at least two years of nursing experience, and BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days). You will develop and adjust care plans, educate families, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safe patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program or have two years of relevant work experience.
• Nursing is the main field of study.
• Two years of nursing experience required.
• Must be a registered nurse; BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Focus on patient and family needs.
• Develop and adjust nursing care plans for desired outcomes.
• Create a safe environment for patients, families, and staff; assist with emotional and physical comfort.
• Educate patients, families, staff; continuously update learning.
