Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for ICU Float on night shift (7pm-7am). You will deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, coordinate with multiple teams, and support quality outcomes for critically ill patients.

The role requires BSN or equivalent nursing education, active RN license, and strong clinical judgment. You will participate in ongoing training and patient safety initiatives within Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• RN license in good standing; BLS required.
• Strong competencies in evidence-based practice and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams; ensure patient-centered care.
• Provide bedside shift reports, rounds, and patient teaching.
• Document care accurately; maintain quality and safety standards.
• Engage in performance improvement and research activities when appropriate.
• Mentor and precept other nurses and students as assigned.
