Requirements include 2 years ICU RN experience, RN license in state, BLS and ACLS, and ability to work weekends and holidays as outlined. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities to collaborate with a wide care team.

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the state where practicing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years ICU RN experience.
• Weekend requirement: 1 weekend per 2 scheduled periods.
• Holiday requirement: 1 holiday per year.

Responsibilities

• Engages in governance, quality initiatives, and evidence-based practice to improve care.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and mobilizes resources.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Documents accurately in the EHR and communicates with the care team.
• May float to other units within the service area to meet patient needs.
• Adheres to ethics and interprofessional collaboration in patient care.
• Maintains required certifications and pursues professional development.
