Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Clackamas, OR is seeking an RN for the Intensive Care Float Pool to provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with critical health issues in a dynamic team environment.

Requires RN license in Oregon, BLS; ICU experience preferred; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• RN degree required.
• Experience in critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate multi-system assessments and plan of care.
• Develop a nursing care plan sensitive to patient needs.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning with hospital departments.
• Initiate measures per protocol for medical/surgical patients.
• Document physician plans and care in the EMR.
• Evaluate assessment methods and patient responses.
