Job summary

Ascension is seeking a part-time night nurse for the Regional Float Pool ICU at St. Elizabeth and Mercy Hospitals in Appleton, WI, with coverage also in Oshkosh, WI.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality patient care across units, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring smooth transitions from admission to discharge. Minimum qualifications include a Wisconsin RN license and BLS; Pediatric ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date is required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing before hire date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution and monitor individualized patient care plans for optimal recovery.
• Document care journey with detail and communicate updates to the team.
• Coordinate clinical disciplines for a seamless patient experience from admission to discharge.
• Execute physician and nursing orders promptly to ensure patient safety and adherence.
• Assess discharge needs early and develop comprehensive transition plans.
