Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Center City Float Pool. This role supports multiple units with night shifts and a 12-hour shift pattern, including 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks and 1 holiday per season.

You will perform patient procedures, administer medications safely, participate in clinical pathways and care coordination, and float to ICUs at TJUH, TJU, and Methodist Hospital, contributing to high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree preferred.
• State RN license is required.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Essentials of Critical Care Orientation completed.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Practices safe medication administration and assesses patient responses.
• Participates in reviewing and implementing clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Float to Intensive Care units at TJUH, TJU, & Methodist Hospital.
