You will assess, plan, and implement care for varied patient populations while maintaining safety standards. Minimum ICU experience and current RN license are required; BLS and ACLS certifications are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• Minimum three years ICU nursing experience.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations within Henry Ford Health.
• Clear ability to communicate with patients, families and hospital staff.
• Rapidly adapt to multiple units and care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across units and develop individualized care plans.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and detect changes early.
• Communicate with patients, families and the care team for coordinated care.
• Orient quickly to different units within the float pool.
• Document assessments and outcomes accurately and promptly.
• Support quality improvement and safety standards.
• Cover day and night shifts as scheduled.
