Job summary

Jefferson University Hospital is a Magnet Recognized facility serving the Center City area with a dedicated Float Pool for ICU coverage. As an RN in the Float Pool you will rotate through intensive care units across TJUH, TJU, and Methodist Hospital, performing procedures, administering medications, and coordinating care.

The role requires a state RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, BSN (preferred), and at least two years in ICU settings.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred.
• State RN license required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience.
• Proof of completed ECCO course or critical care training required.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient procedures within the nursing scope of practice.
• Administers medications safely and assesses patient responses.
• Reviews and/or implements clinical pathways and care coordination.
• Float to Intensive Care Units at TJUH, TJU, and Methodist Hospital.
