Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a Resource Float Pool RN to support ICU service lines across multiple ICU environments. Candidates should have experience caring for critically ill patients and be comfortable floating between CVICU, SICU and MICU units at our Auburn Avenue campus.

Responsibilities include holistic assessment, SBAR communication, discharge planning, and rapid response during emergencies.

Qualifications

• Requires current RN license in Ohio.
• BSN not necessarily required; ADN acceptable with professional development.
• Experience in critical care and ICU environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete holistic patient assessment using the Christ Hospital model.
• Recognize abnormal data and report to physician and charge RN.
• Communicate care plan via SBAR during handoffs with the team.
• Initiate discharge planning upon admission.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid, precise actions.
• Maintain infection control and use protective equipment as required.
