Job summary

Ascension in the Austin metro area is seeking an ICU RN for night shifts to float across multiple hospital locations. This role provides direct patient care in diverse ICU units and requires delivering compassionate, high-quality care while following established protocols.

You will implement and monitor care plans, document patient conditions, and coordinate communication among nursing and medical staff to ensure seamless, coordinated care.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse licensed in Texas prior to hire date.
• ACLS and PALS are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate direct patient care across diverse ICU units.
• Implement and monitor patient care plans and orders.
• Coordinate patient journey and act as central link for communication among care teams.
• Record and communicate patient conditions, observations, and interventions accurately.
