Job summary
Henry Ford Staffing is seeking an Registered Nurse-Regional Float to support our system-wide staffing needs. You will provide direct patient care across multiple units, perform assessments, administer treatments, and educate patients while adapting to varied clinical environments.
The role offers flexible scheduling, premium pay, and opportunities to gain diverse unit experience within a nationally recognized health system.
Qualifications
- : Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- : Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- : 3 years of recent ICU experience.
- : Willingness to float to multiple locations and adapt to diverse clinical environments.
- : Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- : Current BLS.
- : Current ACLS.
- : TB screening and required vaccinations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care across units and develop individualized care plans.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in condition.
- Administer medications and provide wound care and patient education.
- Communicate with patients, families, and health care team for coordinated care.
- Orient to different units and care protocols within the float pool.
- Maintain documentation of assessments and interventions.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and safety standards.
- Work day and night shifts as scheduled.
